Home remedies: #1  Apple Cider Vinegar

The versatility of Apple Cider Vinegar is so marvellous. Taken in everyday, it is said to have illness preventative properties.  As a probiotic, gut health also benefits from this amazing kitchen staple.

Apple cider Vinegar is also excellent for:

  • Ear infections – lay on the side and using a dropper, fill the ear canal with apple cider vinegar.  Really good for killing bacteria and yeast infections.
  • Fungus – apply directly on the affected area with fungus infection.  Also good for Athlete’s foot.
  • Sore Throat – use as a gargle.  You might feel a sting or a burn in your throat but it will subside in a moment.
  • Bug Bites – apply directly on the insect bite.  This has been a remedy handed down in our family for generations!
  • Vaginal Yeast Infection – Mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to 8 ounces filtered water.   Use as a vaginal wash or in a douche.
  • Zits – pat directly on infected pimple or acne to kill bacteria and restore the skin’s proper pH balance.
  • Heartburn – take one shot if you feel that you have heartburn.

Home remedies: #2 Garlic

An anti-bacterial and antiparasitic alternative to your regular antibiotics!  Chew garlic when you feel sick and it will do wonders to your health. You just need to get used to its taste obviously – and others to your breath – but that’s a small price to pay for wellness, right?

  • Infection – use lots of garlic in your food all the time as preventive medicine and chew raw garlic for any systemic infection.
  • Fungus – chop up some garlic and rub on your skin to treat your fungus infection.
  • Vaginal Infections – before going to bed, insert a garlic clove in your vagina.  Sew a string through the garlic for easy retrieval the next day.

Home remedies: #3 Aloe Vera

Perfect to soothe the skin.

  • Burns and Skin Irritations – break off a piece and directly rub onto the burn.
  • Cuts, Scrapes, Insect Bites, Acne – spread aloe vera over the infected skin.

Home remedies: #4 Coconut Oil

Soothes any skin irritation as well as being anti-fungal and anti-bacterial.

  • Use for oil pulling – Coconut can whiten teeth.  Used as a toothpaste, it is a great teeth and gums cleanser.
  • Skin Irritations – moisturizer to soothe very dry skin, great for skin rashes, diaper rashes for babies.
  • Skin maintenance – use as a facial mask.

Home remedies: #5 Ginger

Considered as a Warming Herb, Ginger settles the stomach from gas pain and bloating and indigestion. Treats nausea and vomiting, also great for morning sickness!

  • Migraines – juiced with apples and carrots or just as it is, it can solve your migraine problem.
